It’s celebration time at Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic as we mark one year at our Newcastle city centre headquarters at Saville Place.
We have been operating from Saville Place since moving from the now-closed City Pool a year ago.
It represented a big move for us. We had spent many years operating from City Pool, and it provided a great base for us as we built our reputation as the leading provider of injury treatment in the North East.
Sadly the building was closed following local authority funding cuts and we had to find a new home. (As an aside, City Pool retains a place in the hearts of the people of the North East. Social media campaigns to see it reopened were unsuccessful, though, and it was placed on the property market earlier in 2015.)
The move has proved to be an incredibly positive development for us as the move to more modern, flexible premises has allowed us enhance and progress the range of services we can offer here.
We are adding to our services all the time – watch this space for more announcements in the near future – which all leads to greater choice and better long-term outcomes for our clients.
We also work closely with many top university sports teams and several major employers in the city, so a central location, easily accessible to students and workers alike, was a must.
It marks the end of an exciting 12 months for us, as June also saw us open a new clinic in Jesmond, in addition to our third clinic in Alnwick, meaning our services are open and accessible to as many people as possible.
Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic is one of the UK’s leading musculoskeletal injury treatment centres. We built our reputation on our work with elite athletes across a range of sports, and we offer the same top-level treatments and attention to people of all backgrounds, ages and lifestyles. From Olympians to the totally non-sporting, we can help you.
