What you choose to wear on your feet while you run can have a huge impact on your running form and musculoskeletal health. There is a vast amount of conflicting information around different types of running shoes, it is difficult to know what to look for in a running shoe.
During our footwear and form workshop, our podiatrist will explain the common mistakes made by runners when choosing footwear, what runners should take into consideration when buying new running shoes, lacing methods to match your foot type and how insoles can help ensure running shoes are tailored to the individual needs of the runner.
The podiatrist will assess your current running shoes (Don’t forget to bring them with you) and will offer advice on whether they may have an effect on your running form.
Practical demonstrations and exercises will help you gain a better understanding of how your running shoes can help or hinder your training goals.
